To know where the pricing of deals are going and to know what is considered a good deal, one must know where the prices have been. Once a deal has come and gone, the goal is to develop a database of historic deals so users can come and look at what the price of some of these items have gone for in order to know what the rock bottom price has been. There is no guarantee that the price will drop to that level again, but just like flight history sites, it gives you an idea of the bottom line prices.
One site that I have used successfully in the past is Steep and Cheap. Steep and Cheap is what is called a “One Deal at a Time” or ODAT site that puts up a new deal every 15 minutes or so. This is a great site, however, if you miss a great deal, there is no guarantee that it will come back up anytime soon. Trust me, I’ve spent weeks at a time waiting for that one great deal to come up, to never see it again. However, there does seem to be a trend on items on the site, typically a product is added and will rotate for several days until presumable they run out of inventory.
This page will be updated on a regular basis to provide historic deals as well as deals that have been on ODAT sites. Keep you eyes peeled and good luck on finding an amazing deal!
